May 6, 2012 (Sunday) - John 15:1-8

“I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. He breaks off every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and he prunes every branch that does bear fruit, so that it will be clean and bear more fruit. You have been made clean already by the teaching I have given you. Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me.

May 5, 2012 (Saturday) - John 14:7-14

Now that you have known me,” he said to them, “you will know my Father also, and from now on you do know him and you have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father; that i s all we need. The Father, who remains in me, does his own work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If no, believe because of this things I do. And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son.

May 4, 2012 (Friday) - John 14:1-6

“Do not be worried and upset,” Jesus told them. “Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in y Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so. And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am. You know the way that leads to the place where I am going.

April 24, 2012 (Tuesday) - John 6:30-35

They replied, “What miracle will you perform so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, just as the scripture says, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” “I am telling you the truth,” Jesus said. “What Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven; it is my Father who gives you the real bread from heaven. For the bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.

April 25, 2012 (Wednesday) - Mark 16:15-20

He said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all mankind. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people and these will get well.”.

April 26, 2012 (Thursday) - John 6:44-51

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him to me; and I will raise him to life on the last day. The prophets wrote, ‘Everyone will be taught by God .’ Anyone who hears the Father and learns from him comes to me. This does not mean that anyone has seen the Father; he who is from God is the only one who has seen the Father. I am telling you the truth: he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died.”.

April 27, 2012 (Friday) - John 6:52-59

This started an angry argument among them. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked. Jesus said to them, “I am telling you the truth: if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood had eternal life, and I will raise him to life on the last day. For my flesh is the real food; my blood is the real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I live in him.

April 28, 2012 (Saturday) - John 6:60-69

“The Words of Eternal Life” Many of his followers heard this and said, “This teaching is too hard. Who can listen to it?” Without being told, Jesus knew that they were grumbling about this, so he said to them, “Does this make you want to give up? Suppose, then, that you should see the Son of Man go back up to the place where he was before? What gives life is God ’s Spirit; man’s power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God’s life-giving Spirit.”.

April 29, 2012 (Sunday) - John 10:11-18

“I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep. When the hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees a wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away; so the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, in the same way I know my sheep and they know me. And I am willing to die for them.”.
